Hi friends, I wanted to reintroduce myself for anyone who’s new here. I’m Cassi! I live in NYC with this smoldering hunk of a mancake, my boyfriend, Dustin. I’m originally from TX, but knew in my heart even before I’d ever set foot on the island Manhattan that NYC was going to be my home someday, and now it is! ... How do I know where my sound is resonating? That's where "Lip trills" come in! Lip trills show us two things:... 1 Where the sound is resonating in your body 2 How much air you should be using all the time when you sing. (A literal boatload of air. Yep, it's a lot of air!) Where you feel the core of the buzz is where your sound is vibrating, i.e. resonating in your body. Remember: We're shooting for a top-down placement, meaning you should feel the buzz somewhere around the bridge of your nose area rather than the back of your throat. Shoot for feeling it above the top teeth and avoid feeling it from the bottom teeth down. .
