Little change to the cobleskill trail

I have put up a sign and some Arrows around the old Best Western Hotel in Cobleskill so you can now park down by the Cobleskill Diner to get warm and enjoy some food. You my also park and walk down to Burger King if you please. Please ride slow and quietly.

ATTENTION LANDOWNERS ON OUR TRAILS: If you ride a snowmobile, Please let me know, because you get your NYSSA Membership for FREE for letting us ride on your land. Its hard for me to know who rides and who doesn't, so if you do and need your membership please message me or call 518-234-7331. And I will get it right out to you or you can come pick it up. Again THANK YOU SO MUCH AND WE APPRECIATE YOU!!!

Cave Country Riders Snowmobile Club 341 Hill Rd Cobleskill, NY 12043 January 6th. 2021 NEWSLETTER... January’s Meeting will be cancelled this month. The officers got together and decided with school starting back and after all the holidays, we should stay put and not have our monthly meeting. We will have February’s meeting providing all goes well. With this being said anyone that has receipts for gas and stuff, you can send them to me or drop them off and I’ll get you paid. Trails have been signed with a few changes, so please watch for the signs so you go the right way and we keep our landowners HAPPY. Snowmobile Safety Course FREE: We will be holding one on January 23rd Saturday from 8am-4pm. At 284 Main Street Schoharie NY 12157. This is the motor vehicles office; we are meeting downstairs. Milk and donuts served for breakfast and Pizza and Beverage for Lunch will be provided. Must be 10 years old that day. And Must PRE-REGISTER to Terry at 518-234-7331 or message me. THIS CLASS IS FULL, BUT HOLDING ANOTHER FEBURARY 6TH, STILL HAVE A FEW SPOTS OPEN. LANDOWNERS DINNER: Due to COVID-19 we have cancelled our landowner’s dinner. But good news we are sending our landowners something special in appreciation of them letting us ride through their land. Next meeting is February 9th at 7:00pm at 341 Hill Rd Cobleskill. Words from a landowner on trail C7F on Snyder Road. I don’t mind you riding on my land at all go have fun weather it be 1 or 1000 sleds have fun. BUT I ONLY ASK TO THINGS STAY OFF MY POND AND DRIVEWAY!!!!!!!!!! WELL GUESS WHAT SOMEONE WENT OVER POND AND THERE ARE EVEN SIGNS UP STATING TO STAY OFF POND!!!!! LAST TIME one more goes over pond we loose trail, it’s the main trail for us to go anywhere, so please respect the landowners and there is now a camera up waiting for you. Please don’t reunion it for everyone else. Thank you

What a great turn out for our snowmobile safety course Saturday. Cave Country Riders would like to thank Jay Belfiore of the Emergency services and Terry Minton of Schoharie County Sheriff’s office. They did a great job teaching this class . And yes we be having them again in December and January . Thanks again.

Seems like this is a problem everywhere. Always remember to stay on the trails, clubs work their butts off to have trails to ride
