CHARIS BIBLE COLLEGE, is it for you? Why do people attend Bible colleges? Most people would probably answer that question this way: "They want to do more for Go...d." Even though that sounds like a good reason, it is not the right one. The reason anyone should come to Bible college is to get to know God better. Mark Twain once wrote: "The problem is not what people know. The problem is what people know that is not the truth." If you are living a defeated life, the answer is as simple as you don't know the truth about your relationship with God. Receiving Jesus as your personal Savior and receiving eternal life is the greatest gift you will ever receive from God! At that moment your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life and heaven is going to be wonderful! But if you want the Lord's prayer to be true for you and that prayer to be as Jesus prayed, "on earth as it is in heaven," you are going to have to know God. That is why people come to Charis Bible College, to get to know God better and better. The message taught at Charis is a simple message of God's unconditional love and grace. You will learn about the true nature of God. You will learn to believe what the Bible says in Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. When you know the truth your days of living in the past and living in fear of the future are over, Jesus said in John 14:27- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. If you have ever had a thought of coming to Bible College, I can assure you that is the Holy Spirit speaking to you. If you immediately start thinking of all the reason why you can't, that is the devil trying to keep you in that defeated place where most Christians live. All because they don't know the truth about what Jesus died to give to all mankind. September the 12th will be the official first day of the new school year. Evening classes will be from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Tuesday's and Thursdays. Saturday's from 9 am to 4 pm. I would like to invite you to come and sit in on the first week of classes to see what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you.
