More information on the recent donation by FF. Tom Douglas (ret.)

Last evening proclamations were awarded to FF. Tim Stengel (ret.) and to FF. Tom Douglas (ret.) for their combined 42 years of service to the City of Batavia & Genesee County. After receiving his proclamation, FF. Douglas (ret.) and his wife Debbie made a surprise presentation of their own: a donation 10 SEEK Personal Thermal Imaging Cameras to CBFD. This donation will allow all first due firefighters on E11 & L15 to carry a thermal imaging camera, dramatically increasing safety. Thank you to Tim & Tom for your many years of service. Have a safe, healthy and long retirement!

Everything relies on public works! Matt’s crews provides maintenance for our station, our vehicles, the roads, the water lines, and the fire hydrants. Not one drop of water would make it on a fire if it was not for Matt Worth and his crews!... THANK YOU, and enjoy your last few weeks before retirement!
