Saving Our Selves: a BET Covid-19 Relief Effort telethon special co-hosted by Kelly Rowland, Terrence J, and Regina hall, is tonight at 8 pm EST. Special guests include DJ Khaled, Charlie Wilson, Chance the Rapper, Kirk Franklin, Fantasia, Melvin Crispell III and many more. To support its efforts to provide reliable updates and much-needed aid during this pandemic, BET has partnered with United Way to establish a COVID-19 relief fund. BET raised more than $12 million in response to the Hurricane Katrina crisis. United Way is extremely effective in reach, touching 95% of locations in the United States. This powerful partnership will provide them with the resources to support members of the African American community who have been severely impacted by this virus.
