They will become the centerpiece of the Christmas celebrations of many families who are seeking help from our food pantries this year. The company matched the 225 hams donated by employees. City of Niagara Falls, NY- Mayor's Office Mayor Robert Restaino announces the award of the housing and utility funds to support people affected by the pandemic and the collaboration with Catholic Charities.

We were grateful to join City of Niagara Falls, NY- Mayor's Office Mayor Robert Restaino in Council Chambers this afternoon to accept the award of nearly $450,000 in funds that will go a long way toward helping residents who have fallen behind in rent or utilities as a result of the pandemic. Congratulations to the first #graduates of the first C-Tech training program conducted in WNY! We are so proud of these 8 hardworking students who now have a foundation in network cabling, copper and fiber optics, 5G systems, and grounding and bonding through an intensive 4-week training. They also gained nationally recognized certificates in these areas. Catholic Charities is grateful to partners Buffalo & Erie County Workforce Investment Board and C-Tech Associates, Inc., which conducted the nationally recognized training that aligns with many of the #telecommunication needs of employers in Western New York. And, we will continue to support these students with referrals to any of our services, as well as case management, employment assistance, and retention services through program partners!
