As this year is coming to an end, we are truly thankful to finish it on a positive note. Thank you to all of the people that were able to help over 100 families this year by donating gifts, providing gift cards, or even a meal to share. Also, a big shout out to our ICS Team for coordinating our Holiday Giving Program each year. We would not be able to make this happen without you!!

In appreciation of their longevity and dedication, we recognized several of our employees during a virtual anniversary celebration today. We cherish their commitment to the individuals each and everyday. Thank you!!

We are beyond grateful for all the donations we have received so far for our Holiday Giving Program! There are still some families and individuals that are in need of some donations. CCDS has a created a Holiday Giving Program to assist the individuals and their families that we serve with receiving gifts and or food for the holidays. Last year, we were able to help approximately 200 people! Hiring for DSP's in the Niskayuna/Schenectady area! Full time/part time benefits available, paid training/shadowing, no experience required! We are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work in one of our residence homes that has 5 women with varying levels of disabilities. Some of the duties staff perform may include providing hands on assistance with daily living skills, household responsibilities, medication administration, meal preparation, etc.... Qualifications: -High School diploma or GED required -No experience necessary, paid training upon hire -Valid NYS driver’s license and personal transportation; required -Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment and complete necessary documentation -All employees must consent to a full criminal background check and fingerprinting *Other shifts at different locations in the Capital Region available.

Today was our last Thank You Thursday for planting flowers this summer! We have had a blast visiting some of our Residential Homes, around the Capital Region these last few weeks and exercising our green thumbs Stay Tuned for what CCDS will be doing next!!

After 12 years in our current location, the Catholic Charities Disabilities Services administrative offices has movedbut not very far! Our administrative office is now located on the first floor, Suite 100, of Park Place and our phone numbers will remain the same. We look forward to seeing you in our new space.

Susan has been working for Catholic Charities for almost 20 years and has been an amazing asset to the Residential team.
