While New York is bracing for winter storms, NY Extension Disaster Education Network (or New York EDEN) has winter storm education, preparedness resources, and recovery information ready to go!

Start your New Year right by joining our FREE healthy lifestyle workshops! This 6-week series of virtual nutrition workshops is delivered by a dietitian and SNAP-Ed nutritionist via Zoom, and the next class is on Tuesday, February 2nd, from 7-8pm. The upcoming class, 'How to Make Quick Healthy Meals and Snacks', will cover how to make healthy meals that are both easy and delicious. The Zoom link is in the event description below!

If you're interested in learning log cabin quilting techniques, this is the class for you! The class is designed for beginning quilters but experienced quilters are also welcome to join in the fun. You will leave the class with at least one finished quilt block and the confidence to quilt more on your own. See below for more information!

SNAP-Ed is now offering a free, 6 session virtual class for anyone who is interested. The classes will focus on knife skills, reading ingredient labels, planning and preparing foods to stretch throughout the week, and making a healthy meal for a family of four on a $10 budget. The classes will be held every Wednesday from January 27 until March 3rd, from 5-6pm.
