Due to the COVID-19 pandemic exceptions have been made to the State's Agricultural Assessment Program, which is administered by local assessors. Applicants who did not meet the gross sales requirement ($10,000 or, if less than 7 acres, $50,000) in 2020 can still apply in 2021. Applicants must submit a new form to the assessor: Form RP-305-f: https://www.tax.ny.gov//current_f/orpts/rp305f_fill_in.pdf Qualifying applicants should follow the instructions on the form and should coordinate with their local cooperative extension to receive certification that, but for the COVID-19 disaster emergency, they would have met the average gross sales requirement on this year’s assessment roll.
