Recently Catholic Charities NYSARY clients attended the Cradle of Aviation Museum! The clients learned the history of aviation starting around 110 years ago! During their tour, the clients learned about the role of Long Island in the history of aviation, and major companies such as Grumman and Republic who were the leaders in building aircrafts and aerospace technology! FEEL GOOD FRIDAY! Santa made visits to our Catholic Charities OPWDD Residences (Bishop Ryan, Bustamonte, Beebe and Virdone!) Thank you to Bob Spina and his elves for this annual event. Bob, his wife Lori and his mom as well as so many parents and students have all participated in this generous event for so many years and provide smiles and gifts especially chosen for each resident.... The volunteers went all out with personalized gifts for each of the residents that Santa provided to them ( outside and masked). The volunteers kept thanking CC staff for allowing them to do this again this year as most have been involved in the past. They even had gift cards for all the staff at the homes!
