Besides the election of new officers, we should discuss the Reunion and Golf Tourney. Here's one new thought Holding 2021 Alumni Reunion on Homecoming Weekend in Oct ... We plan to start renovation work on the Green Victorian Footbridge this Spring with an estimated completion date o...f early Fall. I think we should consider a Fall Reunion this year to coincide with Homecoming Weekend. We can see about extending the normal Homecoming chicken BBQ behind the school, putting Alumni seating/tent. Maybe coordinating the Homecoming BBQ with a Legion meal served at school (not sure that's feasible but worth considering). We can hold a Footbridge Reopening Ceremony Saturday morning on the VARAK Park lawn. Maybe serve continental breakfast, Alums and Locals mingle. Then head over to CCS for the pre-game warmups and the BBQ. Then we could have the normal Sunday Legion breakfast. Just tossing this out for discussion. It gives us more time to let COVID vaccines take effect. Let's see how a non-July date works for the Reunion. Dear CCS Alumni and Friends, it is with much sadness that I report the passing of Tom Loren, Class of 1954 last night of Aspiration Pneumonia and Pulmonary Fibrosis. Tom was such a fighter and lover of life even though he had been confined to a wheel chair for a very long time. His obituary will be on our website as soon as it is made available. Please keep his wife Mary, his family and his many friends in your thoughts at this time. Thank You

If you are not on the CCS Alumni and Friends mailing list, you may not be aware that we are sending comments made by the alumni to Dillon and the Concerned Citizens for Saving the Cambridge Indian Mascot .
