Final week to closing down the garden. Today the center fountain drained & cleaned, always brings memories of friend & former board member Larry Matura who was our go to Mr Fixit and took special care of the fountain. This photo is homage to one of my favorite photos of Larry.

Made a quick trip to rose garden today just to check on how our fountain was functioning. Ran into an old friend & also spoke with a lovely visitor who asked When do you cut back the roses? Generally it’s always the last week of October. So time is running out even on a cloudy day to enjoy these beauties. To think it’s October with beautiful buds still blooming.
Seen in the rose garden today ending with our annual volunteer appreciation luncheon.
