So true...and 99% of injuries in a horses career are soft tissue. Get the right horse people, not the "perfect" one. Have seen this so many times as both a buye...r and a seller. Have seen the same horse "fail" with one vet and "pass" with another. PPEs have become a business unto themselves. The more that "fail", the more PPEs can be done. To the tune of thousands of dollars each. It doesn't mean don't do them, but there are ways to use them practically for discovery (and keep cost down) to make a sound decision...but being the right horse for you is the most important factor.
