Know someone who uses wood pellets to help heat their home? A chemical reaction that produces carbon monoxide (CO) gas can occur when wood pellets are stored. Here’s what to know and do. www.health.ny.gov//weather/carbon_monoxide/docs/pellets.pdf

This month we purchased and installed Stryker Power Load systems and stretchers in both of our ambulances. This will ensure the safety of both our patients and responders while loading and unloading from the ambulances. We make safety our top priority. These purchases are made possible by the hard work of our members, support of our community, and from the Town of Sardinia. We would like to thank the community and town for the continued support over the years.

Please share: WNY Community Prescription Drug Take-Back Day at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital - Saturday, October 24 Bertrand Chaffee Hospital will be a site for the... DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 24 from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. at the Hospital Main Entrance. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Staff and volunteers on-site will follow and enforce local COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. We would like to send out a THANK YOU to the community who came out to support our Chicken BBQ today! We have the greatest community here in the Chaffee-Sardinia area! We sold out very quickly, and quite a few folks still stopped and got some 50/50 tickets and also left donations. We apologize to the people who didn’t get a BBQ. We thank everyone for their patience today. We wouldn’t be able to operate with out the tremendous support of our community. We are grateful so many came and donated during this tough time when so many are just getting back to work. We thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you all, and please stay safe! Krissy Kittleson-President
