With the holiday season upon us, we will be inundated with various ways to lend support to those less fortunate. However, we must not forget that, even after the holidays, those individuals will still need our help. Because of this, the workforce programming of The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with The Chamber Foundation, set up an Emergency Needs Fund to provide support to its workforce participants throughout the year. During this past spring..., these funds came into important use as individuals and families struggled during the pandemic. The Chamber was able to assist nearly 100 individuals/families with essential purchases including food and clothing. Today, on Giving Tuesday, please consider supporting the Chamber’s workforce Emergency Needs Fund. Money raised will continue to support our most underserved clients assisting them with basic needs from food to shelter. When these vital necessities are met, only then can participants take the next steps in finding growth and success, and our work can truly begin.
