Channel Qi Acupuncture Update Hello Everyone, I am writing to you at this unprecedented time and hope everyone is doing well and is safe. As you all know, there is an executive order to close many businesses and unfortunately acupuncture is considered a non-essential business. Many acupuncturists have put in a request to give us an exemption so we can practice again as we can be a valuable source of treating people before they get sick to help with prevention and especially ...in the recovery stage of these conditions. In China, they were able to get much control over the recovery efforts by combining Western medicine and Chinese medicine combined. However, we all allowed to treat before and after this type of illness when they lift the mandate. In this time, I am still practicing Chinese Herbal medicine and can do so through online and through phone consultations. If anyone is interested in strengthening their immune system in an effort for prevention of getting sick or Post treatment for yourself or a family member or friend, I am doing free consults via Zoom, Facetime, WhatsApp or Phone calls directly. While it is not suitable to treat people in America during their active state of the virus because of the dangers involved it would be more than okay to treat pre and post viral in this case. Channel Qi Acupuncture Update On Office Hours Hello Everyone, I am writing at this unexpected and unusual time to let you know Channel Qi Acupuncture will be closed on Monday 3/16/2020. Wed and Fri will have a few hours open in the AM and PM. Please contact me directly through text or calls if you absolutely need to come in. However, if you have or are developing any cold symptoms; sore throat, fever, shortness of breath, cough or have been in contact with someone like a cowo...rker, family or friend who has the Corona Virus or suspected of having it please do not come in. Stay home, self-isolate and look after yourself in whatever ways possible. It is for the safety of everyone. Naturally the situation is volatile and I will let you know of any changes as they may occur. Next week, I will send out an update of the schedule. The building is a low traffic building and we are cleaning everything all day long during the hours we are open with consistent sanitizing and hand-washing. Otherwise, I hope to see you at your next appointment or when this whole thing slows down. Corrective Yoga Classes Now Offered at Channel Qi Acupuncture! We are excited to announce and welcome Trish LoCurto, MA, ATC/L to CQA to teach a special type of yoga which focuses on post-injury exercises with yoga.
