#ThisSeasonWeAreChoosing: Joy For 10 years, the Slade family has created extravagant holiday card videos featuring everything from underwater renditions of Elvis’s Blue Christmas to huge family food fightsall to raise money for clean water. What began with a campaign that raised $145 in 2011 has grown to over $55,000 and counting. The Slade family’s joyful holiday videos have helped fund clean water for more than 1,300 people in places like Uganda, Cambodia, and Ethiopia!... They shared, We are so excited that we have had the opportunity to participate in this great causehelping those in desperate need of clean water. Christmastime is the best time to define what we are all about in the year 2020. #ThisSeasonWeAreChoosing: Resilience In the UK, Emma’s company set an ambitious goal to achieve together: not only would they fundraise for the September Campaign during a week-long virtual event, they’d sponsor a step challenge to walk to Mali, too. In the end, they funded clean water for 70 people in rural Maliand walked more than two million steps in the process!... Emma shared, Nothing brings a little perspective like helping someone who is really in need. We thought it would be incredible if we could look back at the challenges of 2020 and know that we came together as a group and did something lifesaving.
