Saddened by the news of fire at White Pine Camp https://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com//blaze-engulfs/ In 1926 White Pine Camp was the Summer White House for Calvin Coolidge, the 30th president of the United States, who served from 1923-1929. Coolidge was the country’s vice president elected on the ticket with Warren G. Harding in 1920, and took over the presidency following Harding’s sudden death on Aug. 2, 1923.

Our Martin Guideboat is a feature of the collection. I wanted to share a little guide boat story while we wait for spring and the end of this virus nonsense.
