DiabetesPro SmartBrief (May 13, 2019) reports of a study published in Diabetic Medicine that found patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (numb feeling in their feet) were at risk for poor driving performance. This was because these patients had lower ankle proprioception function (awareness of it's position in space) and weaker muscle strength resulting in loss of control of the vehicle than those who did not have diabetic peripheral neuropathy. They also drove at slower speeds, compared with individuals without peripheral nerve dysfunction.

Jason S Right from the very beginning I was met with a great and accommodating staff. Staff is very kind, great sense of humor, and best of all, extremely knowledgeable. Doctor and nurse are very personable and make you comfortable right from the get go. You could easily tell that you are in great hands. ... I entered in pain and nervous about my procedure, left smiling and feeling better. Couldn't be happier!
