We are extending our Open Season till Sunday, November 1, 2020. When we will be open from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Watch for our Annual Christmas Sale this year on Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6 from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm.

Our Channel 10 WeatherBug Camera has been replaced with an upgraded one. Go to WeatherBug.com and download the application. Look for the Charlotte Genesee Lighthouse and see the beautiful view of the Genesee River and Lake Ontario. Also find out the temperature, wind speed, direction, and pressure in the the area. Then visit and see the Lighthouse history of the area. Climb the Tower and view the beautiful panorama sceen.

Yes, we are finally going to OPEN the CHARLOTTE-GENESEE LIGHTHOUSES for Tours of the Keeper's House and Tower. We have missed the first 3 1/2 months this year but starting Friday, July 17, 2020, the Lighthouse will be open weekends from 1 - 5 pm Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays. We are very concerned about the safety of our visitors and volunteers. So we have developed many new regulations and before you come down please read the NOTICE below. Everyone will wear a Mask ins...ide the Keeper's House and Tower. In the Tower, you will need to wear plastic gloves that we will provide to you. We are limiting the number of people that can be in the House and Tower at one time. This may create lines outside and it is recommended that if you have 5 or more people please call ahead. We highly recommend you wear the Mask outside on the grounds and keep a safe distance from people outside of your own group. We want to make this an enjoyable and safe visit for you and your family and friends. International Peace Garden Flowers begin to bloom.

We are planning for our seasoning opening! Please watch this Facebook Page for our OPENING DATE! The grounds are open now but there are no tours. Enjoy the beautiful spring flowers, a beautiful view of the area and our International Peace Garden! Please observe our 6 foot separation from other visitors and we recommend you wear a face mask.

Hi everyone. We at The Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse are announcing that the Lighthouse will remain CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The grounds are open during daylight hours but there will be no tours because of the Health Concerns that we have regarding the Coronavirus. This is the kind of view you will get when you visit the Charlotte Genesee Lighthouse. Climb the Tower to see this wonderful view. Open for tours starting Friday April 3rd. Open 1pm till 5 pm. Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday till the end of October. One exception is we will be closed on Easter Sunday so our volunters can enjoy the day with their families.

The Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse WEATHERBUG camera is finally back on line. After resting our system every day over the last week the camera is finally getting out to the internet. We need GreenLight Internet in our area so we can get more consistent internet service. Hopefully it comes soon.
