Here's a BIG SHOUT-OUT to the snowmobilers that rode our closed trails late last night and today (Sunday 1/10/21) in the West Charlton/Galway area (Trail C8B, C7D & S83B)..... 1) We cant thank you enough that you ignored our "TRAIL CLOSED" signs, which you rode right past. 2) Even better is that you completely removed the gate and fencing we (and the Landowner) installed on Saturday (because you or your friends decided to ride the closed trails) to keep the snowmobiles off o...f the CLOSED TRAILS and OFF OF THE PRIVATE PROPERTY.... 3) and it's just awesome that while riding on the closed off private property (where snowmobiles have never been allowed to ride) that you decided to leave your trash and tear up the crop field!! We can't thank you enough because we will most likely be losing permission to use this property forever. Apparently you and the other disrespectful snowmobilers (that can not stay on the marked trails and can not wait until we open the trails to ride) think it is great that you can do what ever you want......which have caused 3 large Landowners to permanently close off their properties......which we have been tirelessly working the past several months to reroute these areas as it is.......and now we have another area to reroute!!! WHEN IS ENOUGH ENOUGH!!! A GIANT THANK YOU from the Trail Crew and law abiding members!!!

1/09/21 We did an inspection of our trails today and we have several swamps that are not frozen/passable and we do not have enough snow to groom. With this, ALL OF OUR TRAILS REMAIN CLOSED! We have closed several of our gates and locked them until Mother Nature gives us more cold.and snow. We will keep checking conditions regularly and post updates . Everyone needs to do the snow dance....... Also, as of today our trail C8B will not have access to the Sacandaga Lake. We will be posting TRAIL ENDS signs in the affected area. We are diligently working to find a new access point and will keep you informed. Respect our Landowners Thank you

NOTICE TO ALL: C8B is Closed at Fulton County Highway 110!!! Our trail C8B in the Town of Broadalbin ends on the south side of Fulton County Highway 110. This trail does not cross the road and continue north anymore. We have been notified by the property owners on Shady Bay Lane that snowmobilers are using their property to access the Sacandaga Lake. They have cameras in place and are working with the police and will charge any and all snowmobilers with trespassing to the f...ull extent of the law. Please pass this info along. Thank you

Trail Update 1/27/21: We received 4"-8" of snow across our trail system last night. C8B, 514 & S83B: OPEN. We groomed/packed C8B from Route 67 north to County 110 with the goal of helping pack this snow to build a base. This trail is reported to be fair to good.... C7D (Manny's Corners): OPEN. We removed the gate/barrier just north of Route 67 today. We have not had a chance to run the groomer on this trail yet. It is open with unknown hazards. C8A (Village of Charlton): OPEN. We opened the gate going south to the Village of Charlton. We have not had a chance to run the groomer on this trail yet. It is open to Charlton Rd. only. We have a report of some trees down in the area of Jockey St and will plan to get in there this weekend to clear. C8A (South of Charlton to Coons Crossing): CLOSED. We have not inspected this trail to see if the big swamp is frozen/passable as of today and there is a property owner that has a logging operation that is still in progress - we can not access this section of trail until logging is complete per the property owner. We are hopeful that this will be done in the very near future. Ride Safe, Stay Right and Stay on the Trail...

We are out again today trying to install all of the signs, stakes and fencing. Had to get the Tucker out because the RTV was having difficulty driving thru this much snow, and we need to plow and shovel out all of our gates. It is slow going. Took 3 hours to go from Eastern Ave to Stewart's at 147. We are also packing this snow to start making a good base..... REMINDER......OUR TRAILS ARE CLOSED UNTIL 12/26/20!!... WE WILL NOT BE OPENING ANY GATES UNTIL THEN. Also, no e of the swaps are frozen. Until they freeze up, they will be impassable. We will update the trail conditions once we open the trails and as conditions improve. Thank you

Trail Update 1/23/21: We are happy to report that we are opening our trails from Route 67 going north ( C8B, 514 and 794), We had a crew out since 8 am today and they just got back to the barn. Also please note that our trail does.not have access to the Sacandaga Lake and ends in the field south of Fultin County Highway 110. All of our trails south of Route 67 are still closed, with the exception of accessing Stewart's for fuel.and the Galway trail S83B. Ride safe, stay right and STAY ON THE TRAIL!

It is great that the area will be receiving some snow tonight and tomorrow. A reminder that all of our trails are closed until after Christmas. In addition we are behind in our preseason trail work to get the trails ready to be open. We have several areas that we have not gotten into to install the signs, field stakes and fencing. Also, we will have a couple sign6trail reroutes for this season. Please follow the new trails. We will.not be opening any of the gates on the old ...trails where these reroutes are. Please respect our current and past Landowners!! Thank you
