On Wed December 9th at 6PM we will be having our Blue Christmas Tree ceremony in Citizens Memorial Park on Main Street. If you would like to purchase a bulb in honor of a current or former Police Officer, Firefighter, Corrections Officer or EMT with a memorial bulbs, please fill out the form below and drop it off to the Village Clerk at 8 Iron Ave Chateaugay, NY 12920 or mail it to that address. Bulbs can be purchased for $1.00 for each name.. Donations will be accepted until... December 24. All money raised will be donated this year to the Chateaugay Fire Department. https://docs.google.com//1tLMSj0zAGAt0chwHvvvtbQt9N5Q/edit Immediately following the ceremony at 6:30pm the Village will be having our very first Holiday Fireworks Display presented by Santore's World Famous Fireworks and sponsored by Bannon's Sanitation, Stewart's Shops, The Inspector, LLC, Write One Plus of Chateaugay, Ellis Automotive, Bub's Enterprises, JBT Appliance Repair, Sid G. Spear Insurance, Kar Kare, Harrigan's Ice Cream, and Locklin Chiropractic. The fireworks will be set off in the corn field at the end of LaCount Street. PLEASE DO NOT PARK TO VIEW THE FIREWORKS ON LACOUNT STREET. If emergency vehicles need to get to the site we need that street clear. The best place to view them will be by CCS and the Yellow zone on the map. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of our visitors please follow the COVID Courtesy Code, which includes wearing a mask and maintaining at least six feet of social distance. The Christmas Tree Lighting and Fireworks event is operating in strict compliance with New York State-issued Low-Risk Outdoor Arts & Entertainment Guidelines
