Chemung County Fairgrounds

A clarification regarding the dressage show at the Chemung COunty Fair. We are using the new 2019 tests for this show. The new link to find the tests on the USDF website is revised on the info sheet for the show.

Fair Exhibitors: Chemung County Classics Memorial Versatility Class is back!!! What is this you say? This is a very special class in memorial of the "Heart Ho...rses" that many of us have had in our lives that no longer are with us in life...truly versatile equines that taught us so many "life lessons". This is sponsored by Shelly Rozell, Michelle Naida, Renee Haers, and Angela Meade Burgess in honor of our "Heart Horses". This class is a TON of fun and great to watch. The class consists of Showmanship, HUS, and WP - no one leaves the ring between classes but can have "grooms" bring needed clothes and tack into the ring at specific times (timed tack/clothing changes in the ring!!!) This class will take place Saturday after the English classes conclude (a break is provided to prepare for those showing in the English Show). OK Horse Peeps! All walks of horse life! Tired of trying to sell on market place? One night only Friday August 2, from 2-7 pm. Come shop our tack swap. Want ...to put stuff in the tack swap to help pay for entries or fair food? Drop off starts at 1 pm. Fill out the form (will be posted later today) with your absolute bottom pricing. Leave it with us and see if it sells. All unsold items must be picked up at 7 pm and you can collect your cash. All sales are cash only! Rules: 1. Fill out the form 2. Price all your items, make sure your name is on the price tag 3. We are volunteering our time to make this happen and it's our first go We are open to volunteers helping - let us know ***We are not responsible for your items and everything is sold "As Is" condition.
