#CVMSGivingTuesday! PLEASE WAIT UNTIL 8AM TUESDAY 12/1 to donate so that your donation can be matched! Want to join me in supporting a good cause? We're raising money for Chemung Valley Montessori School and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500.... This year we are participating in #GivingTuesday. You may be asking why? Facebook is matching up to $7 million for monies donated to non-profits. Additionally, if your employer has a donation match program, a $100 donation on #givingtuesday2020 can turn into $300--with $100 from Facebook and $100 from your employer. It is one of the few fundraising opportunities like this small non-profit schools can participate in. #GivingTuesday starts at 8am Tuesday and only lasts until the $7 million is committed. Each non-profit is eligible for up to $100,000 but maximum per person donation is $20,000. Facebook drives usually charge 5.5% fee but no charge during this program. Every little bit helps.
