Today we’ve demonstrated how our work and YOUR support is #AlwaysEssential. #GivingTuesday is not just about making a donation. It’s about making a difference. It’s not too late to give! https://childcenterny.org/donate/
Together we heal! This year we added residential services to provide the highest level of care and a warm and welcoming home to youth facing the toughest mental health and behavioral health challenges. Join us in supporting them: https://childcenterny.org/donate/ #AlwaysEssential #GivingTuesday
#COVID19 testing is the key to reopening our city safely. Get tested even if you have no symptoms, do it for your loved ones, family, friends and community. #NYCTestandTrace
Together we stand! Thanks to the generous support of donors to our Emergency Response Funds, #ChildCenterNY was able to give cash assistance to families so they could pay the bills. Let’s show them we're still here for them: https://childcenterny.org/donate/ #AlwaysEssential #GivingTuesday
Together we learn! Throughout the pandemic, #ChildCenterNY continued delivering remote and on-site education services and distributed backpacks and school supplies. Show our kids you care about their future: https://childcenterny.org/donate/ #AlwaysEssential #GivingTuesday
It's time to vote if you haven't sent in your ballot yet! Reminder: Interpreters are available at poll sites across NYC to help New Yorkers understand, mark, and cast their ballots this #ElectionDay2020. If you have any issues at your polling site, call 311. Make sure that you have your face covering and hand sanitizer with you. Staying six feet apart is important more than ever. Find COVID-19 resources and a testing site near you at NYC.Gov/COVIDTest or text COVID TEST to 855-48. #FightCOVIDNYC NYC Health + Hospitals
Last week, our COMPASS at PS 273 program wrapped up Hispanic Heritage month by learning about Dia de Los Muertos, the holiday that celebrates ancestors and honors the memory of passed loved ones. Our kids had a blast designing their own Calaveras and watching Coco to tie in everything they learned.
JOIN our T2 teams from Beach 41st Cornerstone and Redfern Cornerstone for their live "In Spite of the Spike!" virtual Town Hall meeting to learn about #COVID19 prevention and testing. See you there! #NYCTestandTrace
We're interviewing Denise Buckley, The Child Center's Senior Vice President, Residential Services.
A conversation with Hunter College students about mental health worker opportunities available at The Child Center of NY!
Check out the scene at our T2 Pop-Up event last Friday at the Beach 41st Cornerstone in Far Rockaway. In collaboration with New York City Council Member Donovan Richards' office, we distributed PPE, backpacks, and books to community members. Thank you to our peer educators for getting the word out about #COVID19 prevention and testing. (And look at those great t-shirts, designed by our youth!) Go to NYC.Gov/COVIDTest or text COVID TEST to 855-48 to find a testing site near you. Or call 1-844-NYC-4NYC. #NYCTestandTrace

Check out their video the song was written and performed by our participants! #LightsOnAfterschool
IT'S HERE!
