Children's Chorus of Bay Ridge 19.01.2021

Last Thursday was a bittersweet ending to Children's Chorus of Bay Ridge's 15th season. Even though we weren't able to perform our Spring Concert and celebrate a milestone anniversary in May, or meet for weekly rehearsals at Good Shepherd, we DID meet via ZOOM. Since the NYS PAUSE began in March, we sang, laughed, chatted, smiled, shared our stories, waited our turn, and practiced patience with each other each Thursday. But most of all, as we interacted via our computer/table...t/phone screens, we maintained and nurtured our sense of community. We stepped into the virtual world of choral singing. With the help, kindness, and generosity of their parents, almost every child in the chorus agreed to participate in this first attempt at creating a virtual chorus video. Enjoy CCBR's Pandemic Virtual Choir performance, a personal remembrance for the choristers and their families of a unique time and place in our lives. Spring 2020 See more
