Thank you to Leland for doing it again! The run will be pushed back to Sunday due to rain on Saturday. This time giving a little back to "the organization that I have been a part of since I was a young teen, where I learned martial arts, lion dance, and built my athletic foundation."

How else can you help CFMAC? For our friends and family that live on the East coast, check out TD Banks Affinity Program. TD Bank will donate to CFMAC annually just for banking with them! If you already have an account with TD, give them a call and let them know you would like to have it associated with our Affinity Code: AH303. *For those looking to open new accounts to get $50 donated to us, we'll have to wait for the pandemic to blow over to set up an Affinity Drive.

As a non-profit organization, the NYCFMAC has been heavily affected when the pandemic hit. Many of our performances and events were cancelled due to the lockdown along with xenophobia. With these cancellations, we have little to no funding in starting back our virtual classes and programs. We are also having a hard time paying rent for our beloved clubhouse that we have been calling home for 30+ years. We need YOUR HELP, so that we can continue to spread the tradition and culture of lion dancing! For more information on how you can help, please visit https://www.liondance211.org/how-you-can-help

We are excited to announce that applications are now open! For Chinatown businesses interested in a mural, please visit the link in our bio for more info on the... application process. ------------------------- A big part of my upbringing is being a part of the Chinatown community so I wanted to give back by doing something that I know best which is making art. My hope is to give something back to these local businesses and bring back that color and vibrancy that everyone knows us for. -- @byloelee Together, we can bring Loe's vision to life to restore and reawaken the community. We need your help to raise $10,000 for Murals by Loe Lee to cover the cost of supplies. Loe has graciously donated her time and skills, and will consult with each business owner to create a mural representative of their business’ identity.
As the weather gets warmer, our volleyball teams would usually be practicing and getting warmed up for all the upcoming competitions. Unfortunately this year we will not know if that would be a possibility. Take some time to watch 9-Man Volleyball documentary by Ursula Liang. The doc features our brothers at Boston Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club 's vball from a decade ago! #tbt
This has not been a fun year and we hope everyone is staying safe! Here's a look back to New Year past.
Leland Yu, the 28-year-old member of the Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club, began his day early by strapping on his running shoes and stepping out into a wet dreary morning. Twelve hours later he ran into the heart of Chinatown on Mott Street to complete this herculean feat.
