We would like to give a big shout out today to the incredible crew that moved everything from our studio into storage this weekend. All our thanks to Shihan Darryl D, the amazing Sempai Cuong, powerhouses Brais C, Sempai José Tulio and Mike R, Bamboo Clan member and kids’ class instructor Yamini M, Schuyler C, Sabrina C, Kelly F and new CHKA friends Lowell S (son of CHKA student Emily T) and Alex B (nephew of friend of CHKA Velta M). Thanks also to Cato Y for all the packing!... We are so grateful for all of your hard work that makes the sad move out of our beautiful studio a little less painful. CHKA will continue to operate 7 days a week with a full schedule of classes on Zoom until it’s safe to open up in a new space, then we will gladly return home to our neighbors in the East Village!
