Tropical storm #Isaias2020 just blew through Long Island this afternoon. We hope you all faired the storm with minimal damage. Now is the time to start thinking about closing your pools...I know, so sad! We're not a fan of the cooler weather either. Get on our list and get it done before all the leaves start dropping. Everyone couldn’t WAIT for Summer! What are you all doing to stay cool these past few days...and this coming week?! How is your pool looking with this heat? Keep an eye on your water level... You may need to add a few inches of water, so the level is mid-skimmer depth and adjust your salt or choline levels. Water evaporates and gets splashed out when it’s so hot! Happy Summer and SAFE swimming! Keep your gates locked to help avoid any accidents!

Once upon a time, there was a home with a very old pool structure that sat empty for 10+ years. The owners #youngChildren kept asking when they could fix the #pool so they could #swim! This Spring the owners called #ChitukPools for an estimate saying they didn’t have a lot of money to spend, and asked what we could do. We worked with the owners and salvaged all the steel walls that we could and rebuilt the pool piecing in the new parts. The kids came home from school the second day on the job to find the cement truck in their backyard securing the walls for their new pool! We’re not sure which they were more excited about that day! Now we just need a nice warm day to install the liner and get the pool up and running to make a Hapily Ever After story! Pictures to come upon completion! We love having #happyCustomers!
