As snow continues to fall in New York City and our time indoors increases, we can start to lose our connection to nature. Our vibrant, vertical sculptural green wall brings year-round flora to this West Soho high-rise condominium. At nearly 5 feet high and 3 feet wide, this piece is laced with faux Agave, Echeveria, Crassula and Tillandsia, and traversed by curlicued driftwood. With intricantly arranged faux succulents and airplants, this lush wall provides a welcome touch of interior greenery. #gardendesign #hospitalitydesigner #artconsultancy #landscapestudio #landscapedesigner #landscapeconstruction #artconsulting #landscapeart #landscapedesign #hospitalitydesign #artconsultant #homedesignideas #nyc #newyorkcity #studio

Mere steps away from the client's kitchen, this raised bed kitchen garden in a Hamptons summer home offers residents and guests a medley of delicious fresh produce, from chives to chard and blueberries to lingonberries! At CDL/S, we love interweaving productive edible plants into our thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces, and our clients (at least those that love to cook) appreciate this as well!

It's just as important to consider the ambience of an outdoor space at night as it is during the day. These photos highlight some of our after-dark works, showcasing foliage uplighting and structural backlighting.

Holboellia latifolia, commonly known as Sausage Vine, is one of our new favorite vine choices. Clients commonly will ask for a vine that will look good all year round, and the Sausage Vine is the perfect solution. A rare evergreen climber, with the ability to grow upwards to 25 feet. The Sausage vine has both male and female flowers, creating interesting pink colored sausage-shaped fruits!
