Oh the holidays. Oh so fun, yet oh so much work sometimes! The holidays are a time for celebrating the season and family traditions. Stressing about decorating and being organized shouldn't be on the list of things to do! Make the holidays a little bit less stressful with some of these tips and tricks to keep your self a bit more organized. ... 1. Start by pulling everything out and sorting in to categories. 2. Use the app Sortly. It will list all your items that you place in to folders and then you can create custom QR labels. When you're ready for next season, all you have to do is scan the code to know exactly wht is in that box. No more rummaging through looking for items! 3. Use egg cartons to hold tree ornaments safely. 4. Use scrap carboard pieces to wrap lights around so they stay untangled and place in a zip lock bag. Also, place extra bulbs and fuses in a special kit. 5. Keep those pretty bows nice and fluffy by inserting toilet paper rolls into the loops. 6. Saran wrap your Christmas tree! If you've got the room and don't want to take all the decor off, this is a great solution. Just unwrap the next year. I hope some of these tips will help solve some of your holiday dilemmas! Curious what happens when you submit an offer on a home? A few things can happen once you have found the perfect home and are ready to put in your offer. First, your offer can be accepted. When this happens, the seller signs your offer as is and all terms and conditions you asked for, have been agreed upon by the seller and are now legally binding.... Second, the seller may want to counter your offer. They may counter the price, or they may counter the terms, such as a 30 day escrow versus a 30 day escrow. Or maybe you asked the seller to pay for your closing costs and they counter back that they will pay half. The seller then resubmits this new offer back to the buyer and the buyer either accepts or can counter back again. Third, your offer can completely be rejected, with out a counter. Most sellers will submit a counter offer if they do not agree with your terms. But keep in mind, it is not uncommon for a seller to totally reject your offer if you ask for too much from them in the terms or your asking price is very low and they feel, unreasonable. It is important to put together an offer that will not offend the seller, so that you can at least get a counter offer back.
