YOU'RE INVITED! Because CAHS couldn't host its usual Festival of Trees at the Rogers House this year, we're hoping you'll send us a photo of your indoor tree. If anyone would like to share a tree picture from their home, please message a photo and a description on the Cincinnatus Area Heritage Society's Facebook page. This is our tree, set up in ADA's front parlor. Vintage teacups with ribbons, a topper made of old wallpaper, and teapots around the base bring together that Victorian look that ADA lives for.

The crowd moved across the street to Bethlehem to sing at the manger.

In the fall and early winter of 1958 twenty-some families in the village of Cincinnatus constructed a large holiday display to be placed on the town's library lawn. The project consisted of life-size wise men, camels and a backdrop of the village of Bethlehem painted on a sectional wall. A lighted star was placed atop the library flagpole. Over time this display has become an area icon. Local folks, as well as families from nearby towns, travel to our village to view this installation. Our thanks to Jim Button for these outtakes of 16mm films shot by Tom Burlingame.

This year, the Cincinnatus Area Heritage Society unveiled an updated manger scene. School art teacher, Nicole Fabian, designed the Bethlehem townscape on either... side of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. John ByRoad created a new set of doors for the Bethlehem scene, which had disappeared through the years. See more
