Monroe County 4-H is not currently running the Citizen U program; however, as opportunities become available, we will consider running the program again. Stay tuned!

Coming in the Fall of 2018... 4-H UNITY! 4-H UNITY stands for Urban Neighborhoods Improved Through Youth. 4-H UNITY will be a program similar to CITIZEN U and the Monroe County Cornell Cooperative Extension staff can't wait to start! Stay tuned as this new program unfolds.

4-H gives youth the power to be themselves and make a difference. It's a caring community that allows youth to achieve their goals. Consider volunteering for 4-H today!

True leader Malik (pictured here at the 2015 Citizen U graduation with Jamila Simon, State 4-H Civic Engagement Program Specialist, and Michele Aman, Citizen U Coordinator) recently commented on his experience with Citizen U: "One thing that CITIZEN U helped me with was in becoming more of a leader by showing me how to speak out more....
