To prevent shifting attach the even feed/walking foot.... Use the Gathering Foot to gather ribbon! Attach the Gathering foot. Select a straight stitch. Increase the stitch length and tension. Place the ribbon under the foot and sew.... Tip: Hold the ribbon behind the foot until it starts to bunch up and then let go.
