On Friday, The Clarkstown PBA took part in the Santa Response Team toy drive along with dozens of other police departments in the area to help families in need during the holiday season. Coordinated by Sgt. Alice Laschet and PO Corry Doyle, thousands of toys were collected for the drive to contribute to this great event. Additionally, in coordination with the local school districts in the town, the Clarkstown Police received over 40 Letters to Santa from children with their Christmas wish list. With the assistance of multiple police agencies from Rockland and Bergen County, every wish was granted. The Clarkstown PBA wants to thank everyone in our community who helped make this event a success. #rocklandcountypba #springvalleypba #orangetownpba #piermontpba #northernvalleypbalocal233

Dan Zevola, President of the Eagle Chapter of the Korean War Veterans of Rockland, stopped by the Clarkstown Police Department to present a ceremonial flag to CPD Honor Guard President Detective Rob McDonald. Mr. Zevola attended the Veteran’s Day ceremony this afternoon and passed the flag on to our honor guard where he knew it would be treated with the care and respect that our flag deserves. The Clarkstown PBA would like to thank Mr. Zevola and all of the Veterans for their service to our country.

Many of you may notice a new look for some Clarkstown Police officers throughout the month of November. Once again, participating members will be growing out their mustaches for Movemberin an effort to raise awareness for numerous men’s health issues. Part of this campaign is raising money through the link below, as well as the annual prize dinner where a strict panel of judges vote on CPD’s best mustache. The Clarkstown PBA thanks our community for their continued support and is proud of everyone participating.
