iSEED student Aylin Flores recently presented at 2017 SACNAS: The National Diversity in STEM Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the conference, judges recognized Aylin Flores's work, titled "Distinguishing Whether Rif2 and Orc4 Subfunctionalized or Neofunctionalized after Duplication," as a standout among the student presentations in the Cell/Molecular Biology category, and selected her to receive one of the 2017 SACNAS Student Presentation Awards.
