CNR Spectrum

Good Morning Everyone! Today Spectrum will be hosting the annual CNR Day of Silence! Remain silent throughout the day to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying. At 6:30 p.m we will break the silence in Maura Ballroom with the CNR Moonlight Picnic. There will be all you can eat pizza and wings, live DJ, and raffles. For $2, you will recieve entrance to the event, an awareness ribbon, a raffle ticket, and dinner. RIbbons are required for entry. All of the proceeds from this event will be given to NYC Anti-Violence Project. We hope to see you there!

Good Morning Everyone! Tonight Spectrum co-sponsoring an International Showcase tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Maura Hall. There will be psychic readings, henna, presentations, games, beauty product and jewelery vendors, and foods from different international cultures. This event is 100% free for students, and you are allowed to bring a small number of outside guests at no cost either. We encourage our members to dress up and represent their cultures, although this is optional. We hope to see you all there tonight!

TOMORROW THURSDAY 10/29 Spectrum will hold it's first event, Fighting Back: Sweeping Rape Culture From Under The Rug. Its highly recommended that all CNR students attend, it will have valuable information about the updated CNR Victims Bill of Rights and resources available at no cost to victims of sexual assaults in the area of the main campus. This Thursday, 10/29/15, come to Sweeny Student Center's upstairs for Fighting Back: Sweeping Rape Culture from Under the Rug for valuable information for on policies and services for victims of sexual assault both on and on campus. More details coming soon!
