Merry Christmas and happy New Year!! We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. We apologize for the delay as we took some much needed down time. We cannot say thank you enough for the wonderful first year. Thank you to all of our vendors, the community for supporting us, all of our family and friends that helped this year in building and getting things ready, to selling and handling trees. Everyone that stopped out to see the light show and retail shop, Santa, Mrs Cla...us and the Grinch.. It was an amazing first year, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you and your support. There just is no way to say thank you loud enough We are hoping for a bigger and better 2021 season, with lots of upgrades/changes, activities for the kids, and many more fun and exciting things. We will continue to post our progress as we move along throughout the year. Thank you all again, and we hope to see you this fall!

We hope everyone is having a good start to 2021! We are working on an order for T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts and wanted to give others a chance to order if interested. Order will be placed Monday March 1st. PayPal or cash accepted for payment. Money is needed upfront before we place the order. ... We will need your name and phone number or email so we can call when shirts/sweatshirts are in and we will schedule a day for you to pick up. We had our first marriage PROPOSAL last night during our light show!! Steve made this specifically for the moment!! He asked right at the end of the countdown and she said YES! We want to once again give our sincere congratulations to Justin Van Sickle and Kim Li Musall on their engagement that happened at the light show Sunday night!! We wanted to ensure that they were the first to announce the big news to their friends and family but now the word is officially out!!! We wish you guys well on this journey together, and thank you for letting us be apart of your special night! It was absolutely beautiful!

We want to say a HUGE, HUGE thank you to everyone that came out to see us starting November and over the last 2 weekends. We are sold out of ALL of our trees, and will not be getting anymore in. Thank you for coming out and supporting us and all of our vendors. We are so grateful for everyone one of you. We could NOT have done this without you guys! We will continue to have the shop open every weekend(cash or credit/debit card). Friday’s 4-8, Saturday’s 10-8 and Sunday’s 10-...5. Christmas week will be 10-8 Monday through Wednesday and we will be open Thursday, Christmas Eve, 10-2pm. We will also continue to make and sell wreaths until we are out of materials. We here at Coan’s Dusty Acres are looking forward to another fun filled weekend! We really can’t thank you enough for your support! Unfortunately, we do have to let you all know that Santa will not be available to visit the farm this weekend due to an icy tumble he took during the week . We’re very sorry for the inconvenience! The Grinch, however, will still be here ready and waiting to visit with your little ones! We hope to see you soon!

Update: Signs have been returned! Thank you to everyone that helped. And for whomever returned them. We had some friends put up signs to make it easier to find the farm last weekend. One on the corner of ivory and frew, and one on the corner of oak hill and frew. They are both gone. If anyone knows why and/or could return them, That would be awesome. If they were taken down due to a violation of some kind. We apologize. With the whirlwind of a busy weekend expected, I didn’t think to reach out about them.

Trees. We have some trees that we have been working hard to get to farm. We have several varieties available folks. From roughly 5 to 10 feet. We have Fraser, Canaan, a few Grand firs and several blue spruce for folks that want heavy ornament trees. All have been fresh cut yesterday. Special shout out to our family for saving us yet again. Steve Coan, Amber Barr, Taylor Coan we would not have these available without their help. Nice full wide trees. Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

We have some awesome news!! MORE TREES WILL BE HERE THIS WEEK!! Stop down Friday 4-8, Saturday 10-8, or Sunday 10-5 this weekend (and every weekend until Christmas) to pick out your family tree! We want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that came out to visit over the weekend. We appreciate the support for us and the vendors and are so very happy everyone seemed to have a good time. When we started making plans, this was the exact outcome we were looking for. A place for the community to come and enjoy themselves as a family. It was heartwarming to see the kids with Santa and Mrs Claus. How excited they were to see the Grinch. And enjoy the fire pit, food truck, k...ettle corn, shop, horses and goats, and all the photo props we have available. We went through almost all of our trees this weekend, and we apologize for the lack of them. We are hoping to have more and a better variety next year. We also apologize for the wait to get into the shop. Hopefully next year we don’t need to do the limiting. We do have 6 trees left, and will continue to have the shop open as planned, every weekend, Friday 4-8, Saturday 10-8, Sunday 10-5 and Christmas week (Monday through Christmas Eve) 10-8. The light show will start at exactly 5:30 pm, November 27! This year the show will be on the shop side of the house(compared to past years when it was on the road side) so we ask that everyone please pulls into the parking lot, both to get the full effect of the show and for the safety of everyone driving down the road and for yours. Please park respectfully so everyone gets the full effect of the show. It is a 25 minute show and is on a loop until 10pm, and will be playing e...very night of the week from Friday until Christmas. Tune your radio to 105.5 to hear the music (there is a sign in case you forget). There will be a radio outside in case you can’t get close enough or want to stay warm by the fire and cook you’re s’mores This is free to our community and very covid-friendly; we can’t wait to see everyone and thank you ALL for your support! We are going to share this video one more time because we have to do an extra shoutout to Steve Coan. We would have never been able to open this year without his help being the Tech guy, carpenter, electrician, consultant and whatever other tasks he helped us with. Also on top of all that he has logged hundreds of hours setting this light show up for everyone to enjoy. In a year where everything is crazy and nothing normal we wanted to give the community something they could enjoy with the family that is completely safe and free to do. You can watch from comfort of your vehicle in our parking lot. So we hope you enjoy the show and look forward to seeing everyone. A week from today our trees will be delivered!! Friday November 27th from 10am-8pm we will be open for our GRAND OPEING WEEKEND! We will have Christmas trees and wreaths for sale as well as the gift shop, our magical light show you can enjoy from the warmth of your car will be playing, and... SANTA!! (Due to Covid he will be out and about wandering the farm and will not be available for children to sit on his lap.) We have a ‘Letters for Santa’ drop box. And..... Throughout... the month of December we will also have guest appearances from the grinch as well! (Will post grinch appearance dates ). We will offer precut trees until our trees are available for cutting, with this year our only tree available being balsams. Due to the tree shortage, we did not have the option for variety/tree type this year, but hope to have more of a variety next year. 6-8 foot - $56 8-9 foot - $64 Tree stands, tree watering funnels, and tree bags will also be available for sale. We will have 100 trees set up under our pavilion, and outside of the pavilion as well, to offer covered selection. We have a tree drill, shaker, and baler also.
