PSA. please exercise caution when driving in the snow. Be aware other cars can not stop as fast as they could on dry clear roads. Allow yourself more stopping distance. Clear your walks of snow and ice. Also make sure your house number is visible from the road. If your mailboxes have your house number on them clear them from snow and have them posted on both sides of the box and even on the front of the box. Help us find you and get to you safely in your time of need. Remember to dress in layers and cover your head. Much body heat is lost through the head.

The Rotary clubs of Livingston Manor, Liberty and Monticello donated 2200 masks to EMS and first response agencies throughout Sullivan County. Thank you to our... Rotarians for looking out for our safety. An even bigger thank you to our EMS professionals who have responded consistently throughout this pandemic and risk their own health/safety every day to help others! See more

As we encountered our first major storm . I would like remind our residents to clear off the snow from their house numbers. Also to clear their driveways , sidewalks, stairs of snow and ice. Not only for your safety but the safety of emergency responders coming to the aid of your requests for help.

I know it's been a long time since we posted . Since summer is over. Falling has been around and bit and winter is starting to introduce himself. The trees are done shading us from the summer's sun and heat. They are shedding their leaves. Be careful driving for when they are went on the roads makes roads very slippery. Some schools are opening somewhat. That means school buses are out. Remember to stop when they have their flashing reds . In both directions. With cold , remember to dress in layers. I f you feel you would like to give back to your community. We are excepting applications. We have a job for everybody. Make a difference .

Just a reminder our Park is open. Few rules clean up after your pets. You notice there is no Garbage cans. Our park is self cleaning. Feel free to use it, just take your garbage with you. You'll notice we still have some mulch to spread . Our members are volunteers that keep the park clean and grass mowed. We did replace two smaller picnic tables with one large one. We are constantly working to keep the park for our residence.

Now that the warmer weather is here. Remember to be safe around the water. Our town is bordered by a beautiful river. Just remember swimming and boating in a river is a little different. Just a few tips. !) know your limits. Swimming in the river is not like swimming in a pool. Wear good water shoes. The bottom is rocky and slippery. Not all hazards can be seen from the surface. 2) when boating always wear a life jacket. Make sure all children and pets are wearing one. 3) ...Always have some sort of first aid kit. 4) Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate. Is very easy to get dehydrated especially near the water. 5) Don't dive from bridges or rocks . Just because you can't seen the bottom , doesn't mean it's deep. 6) If near the waters edge wear a life jacket. It will safe your life. Enjoy your summer. Have a fun and safe time. See more
