Cockaigne Fans! Thank you for coming out last weekend! As we look at the forecast - we are expected to receive new snow sometime Friday, carrying through for some days.... Our goal is to open the resort for skiing this holiday weekend - Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We will be on holiday hours during these three days - 9am to 10pm. Cockaigne's Amazing Food and Beverage will be open Thursday and Friday at 4p for dinner. On days that skiing is not open, Cockaigne will serve the Loft menu throughout the resort. Base! Base! Base! Cockaigne Resort Making Snow! 2020

Cockaigne Fans! We are starting to get some help from mother nature with some new snow last night and today. As we all know, we cannot always count on natural snow as our climate has seen significant changes in recent years.... As such, earlier this week and through the weekend, Cockaigne has been investing in improving its snow making ability. Certainly, we would have loved to have been open today and tomorrow - but our improvements are not quite complete. We have an amazing Director of Facilities and Facilities Team - they have been hustling to get these improvements done and in all of our rear view mirrors. It is our plan to reopen Cockaigne Resort for skiing this coming Wednesday. This reopening will be with natural snow fall and improved abilities to make man made snow. This is not only an advantage for the coming week - but will permit us to extend our 2021 season. Thank you all for your understanding and support as we improve Your Local Ski Resort! Raving Fans - a Quick Update! As typical with the snow business - our opening date of December 12 is dependent upon mother nature. Temperatures need to stay low enough to continue to make snow - and some natural snowfall would go a long way! The resort will make its final decision for a Saturday, December 12, opening at the end of day Thursday, December 10.... We will post the decision on facebook and our website - stay tuned! If we are able to open based upon snow making - we will have the learner hill - main hill - and one of our best timber runs open. The Ticketing & Retail Services Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service satisfaction by performing all ticketing and merchandise sales functions for our guests in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner. Essential Duties: Maintains a basic knowledge of all types of tickets sold. Operates and performs simple maintenance of Point of Sales (POS) terminals.... Assists guests with directions and other resort information. Remains vigilant and aware of guest (and employee) conduct as it relates to Resort security (i.e.: theft), reporting concerns to Management and/or Human Resources immediately. Responsible for transaction accuracy of assigned cash drawer. Maintain compliance with Ticket/Retail office policies as procedures. Obtain a high level of product, ticket and services knowledge to intelligently and professionally cross-sell items. Maintains a clean area; in and out of the sales area. Cooperates and coordinates with Rentals, Ski School, Ski Patrol, and other departments as appropriate. At all times act in a manner consistent to Cockaigne’s Vision and Mission. Perform other duties as assigned. Education / Skills / Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in retail preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills are required. Must have strong math skills and be detail-orientated. Must be able to give direction, provide leadership, and solve problems.
