Right, wrong or different? From the Airport to 5-Star Hotels to Mom & Pop Villas, a water hose can be found in every bathroom. For several days I remained perp...lexed regarding this recurring theme everywhere I traveled in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. Finallyyou guessed it, I Googled it! And found that the water hose is used to clean oneself upon using the toilet oppose to using toilet paper. The plumbing system is very different in these countries, not taking too kindly to toilet paper going down its pipes and drainage system. Besides, the hose and the LEFT hand are the prepared method to clean oneself, as in African countries. Right, wrong or indifferent? You be the judged, what would you do if visited these countries East? Would love to hear your thoughts.
