We are giving free coats away (to those in need) on Monday Nov 16th and Tuesday Nov 17th from 9am to Noon, in front of the Main Street Store in Albion.

Do you have something to say about internet in Orleans County? Orleans County has always had its struggles with internet access, and we certainly have discovered the full impact of that during COVID-19. The United Way and other organizations are gathering information that will help them to seek funding to help our community with internet access and digital literacy skills. Community Action supports their efforts to get as much feedback from the community as possible. Please t...ake about 10 minutes to complete the Orleans Digital Literacy Survey by clicking on this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/OrleansDigitalLiteracySurvey Individuals, aged 11 years and up, can participate. You will remain anonymous, but your feedback will help greatly in defining the most pressing needs and designing appropriate solutions. Community Action is helping to spread the word about this community-wide survey. If you live, work, or go to school in Orleans County, please participate!

#GivingTuesday may be over now, but our cause is not! You can still donate to help our Head Start children build their home libraries and their futures - our fundraiser will continue all week. We can't wait to send these books home to our Head Start kids - thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your help so far! It's been a fantastic day!

Food Distribution in Ridgeway on Friday. **Friday, October 23rd Ridgeway Fire Department, 11392 Ridge Road, Medina no lines before 8 a.m. The entrance will be on Horan Road and the line will be facing north towards Ridge Road. Exit will be on to Ridge Road. All events have a tentative start time of 9 a.m. They may start earlier depending on when the truck arrives and volunteers are ready. No event will start prior to 8 a.m. People are urged to stay to the side of the road while waiting and do not block driveways.
