Unpaid Family Caregivers spend nearly 20% of their personal income on out-of-pocket costs related to helping a loved one. This includes items such as clothing, incontinence supplies, personal hygiene products, hospital, doctor or prescription copays (as well as paying for gas to get their loved ones to and from these health visits), remote health and safety monitoring devices, pet care, wheelchairs, oxygen concentrators, hearing aids and so much more.
