We are excited to announce a new communication tool for our clients. We have started using PetDesk, which will allow you to see your pet's medical history and print vaccination certificates, interact with us via text or email to schedule exams, request refills, and much more. The phone app is available on the Apple and Google stores. Be sure to use the same email that we have on file for you so that the app can match you up. And don't worry, you can still call us if you prefer!

MISSING: "Delilah" - A 14 year old spayed female cat. Black-tiger and white. Is very timid, but gentle. Has gone missing on August 9th near Clapper Hollow Rd., in Jefferson, NY (Schoharie County) She has a swollen lower right jaw due to a tumor. Is in need of medication.... Our power is back on!

As of 6:30 am today, Community Veterinary Center is without power (therefore no telephones and no internet access) NYSEG is working on it. If you're trying to get through and can't this is why. We hope to be back up and running at some point this morning and will update this post when we are! Thank you for your patience!

To our valued clients: Due to concern over the corona virus we at Community Veterinary Center are reaching out to our clients to address this unprecedented event. First and foremost is the protection of our clients and staff. While we have not had any exposure or confirmed cases among our clients or staff we are committed to reducing the risk of infection. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines and have taken steps to enact new workplace policies including cleaning and... disinfecting our hospital throughout the day. Effective immediately, we will limit the amount of people in our lobby by asking clients and their pets to remain outside or in their vehicles until an exam room is available. We are requesting all clients (whether picking up medications or here for their pets' exams) to call the front desk upon arrival at 607-432-0050 and we will check you in and come and get you when we are ready. Please know that these are short term changes in place to protect our staff so that we may remain open and provide your pets with veterinary care during this crisis. We are continuing our normal business hours at this time. We ask for your support and cooperation while we get through this together.
