Update for continued prayers for the George family: Today we are just outside the fire advice area!!! By one road. However, we need you to keep praying. The fire is huge and many people we know are working hard to stop it. No new homes have been lost but the terrain is seriously difficult terrain they are working in horrendous conditions. Very high winds. Pray for rain to come even though it’s been so dry. Pray for the winds to stop and pray for us to get help from other states.

Please join us in prayer for our missionaries, the Georges as they face the threat of wild fires. Hi everyone, we are writing to ask you to pray immediately for the safety of homes and families. We have 5 families that have been evacuated that are in the red area. We live in Landsdale which is about 10 km from where the fire is active and burning. We are the blue dot just below the arrow. Pray specifically for the fire not to get into the state park which is green in the phot...o. We are safe and not in danger, but please pray for the families in our church that are in the red area. We are all in home quarantine from COVID for 5 days. So we are all home. It is very hot! And, we are not allowed to have our evaporative air on, as ash is falling from the sky. Please pray for the wind to change direction and for the fire to go into Backburn so we are all safe and no more homes are lost. Update: 6:00pm Perth time. 56 homes are lost, but no lives. And none of our church family homes have been lost yet. Update: 9:23 59 homes lost. Many damaged and many not known. Win has changed direction again and our home is full of smoke. so far Brayden has been really good and is not having any difficulties with his asthma. See more
