sad to learn of the passing of Ruth Anderson. she was the first women princeton admitted to the graduate program in composition, founded the electroacoustic mus...ic studio at hunter college, spent a number of years making work at the columbia princeton electronic music center and in the early 60s she was a composer and arranger for NBC. Her pieces Dump and SUM are amazing examples of politically engaged collage work. rest in peace and thank you. See more
