Regarding SolarWinds Orion / Sunburst Compromise / HACK! Even though we don’t directly support SolarWinds Orion, we wanted to share this info regarding steps to mitigate risks to exposure the compromise. The victims have included government, consulting, technology, telecom and extractive entities in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We anticipate there are additional victims in other countries and verticals. FireEye has notified all entities we are aware of being affected. Comserv Connect recommendation at this time is if you are using SolarWinds Orion Software, is to immediately shut down these servers. Get back into the servers, but only with their network interfaces disabled so they are totally segmented from all other network devices. The versions to update to are 2020.2.1 HF1 and then HF2 as soon as it comes out, which should be soon. You can verify these are installed through the Servers Control Panel: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates. Scroll down to SolarWinds to see the list of hotfixes installed (screen shot at the bottom). Also make sure you manually check Antivirus for any updates.
