Here's the truth if interested. Why does this award means so much to CONNEXX? Here's why. When starting CONNEXX 13 months ago, everyone said: 1."Networking groups NEED to ONLY have ONE person represent a business category in that group!" 2."Members NEED to do weekly presentations so others can know what they do!"... 3."There NEEDS to be an attendance policy for members!" 4."Groups NEED a board of directors to oversee them!" 5. "Members NEED to be voted in by the rest of the group!" 6. "There NEEDS to be a dress code upheld for meetings!" 7. "Members NEED to belong to just one networking group!" 8. "Groups NEED under 25 members to become close!" 9. "Topics shared in meetings NEED to pertain to business!" 10. "If CONNEXX is different than what people are used to, nobody will sign up!" Well, those that doubted us, and our approach to networking were VERY wrong! In 13 months we went from a handful of members that believed in a vision of what networking SHOULD be, to now having over 100 members. We are a supportive community of business owners and people in sales, that have the desire to improve ourselves as people, as well as professionals.
