Con Tech is in the middle of a major renovation for the Edwards-Knox Central School District including a fully renovated pool, locker rooms, stands, tens of thousands of square feet of new floor finishes, hundreds of new window glazing, a renovated High-School Office, Elementary Office, and Art Room, and a new Fabric Storage barn. We're sure the students, parents, faculty, and staff will appreciate the renovated facilities later this year when they return to school. Also, congratulations to the 2020 graduates, who officially crossed the stage last Saturday! Best of luck to you all in your future endeavors, wherever they may take you!

For the last 6 months or so, Con Tech has been working on the Saranac Lake Resort with BBL Construction Services to complete insulation, drywall hanging, acoustical ceiling tiles, doors, frames, and hardware, and other miscellaneous scopes throughout the new four story hotel being built in Saranac Lake, NY. Once complete, the hotel will offer a premier stay in heart of the Adirondacks, right on Lake Flower in downtown Saranac Lake. This project is another example of both Con ...Tech's skilled craftsmen and women and our ability to manage subcontractors, which we utilized as supplemental labor to address a schedule crunch this winter. We can't wait for the hotel to be complete and will likely book some rooms once it's done.

Continuing our long-standing relationship with Fort Drum Mountain Community Homes, Con Tech is now finishing up the Finish Carpentry and Millwork on 11 new officer's homes along the James Street Extension on Fort Drum. These homes represent the highest quality of housing, rivaling any high-end private residence off-post, and are a showcase of the finish carpentry skills of our craftsmen and women. We've also partnered with some fantastic local subcontractors and suppliers, in...cluding Busch Products for the counter-top installations and White's Lumber for the millwork supply. Additionally, Con Tech poured the concrete foundations and slabs for these 11 new homes last fall and winter. We're extremely proud of our relationship with the ARMY and Fort Drum specifically. Fort Drum's economic impact on the North Country can't be overstated and our 25+ years of working on post is an example of that. Here's to another 25 years of expansion on post and to one of the ARMY's finest military installations!

Con Tech is excited to provide new athletic field facilities for the Utica Central School District - JFK Middle School this summer. The new softball diamond, baseball diamond, football & soccer field, track and facilities, bleachers, dugouts, and fencing will provide the school district with world class facilities in their continued encouragement of getting student's outside and participating in sports. I'm sure the students, parents, and faculty will be proud of their new facilities once complete later this summer. This will be our second athletic field project in as many years, and if last year's Brasher Falls project is any indication, this one should turn out great as well.

This week we'll finish our nearly 2 year long relationship with Mayfield Apartments and Hamilton Stern Construction, LLC at the Mayfield Apartments renovation project in Potsdam. It's proved to be a very valuable relationship working with these two partners as we've renovated 142 apartments, constructed a new 12 unit apartment building and storage garage, installed new sitework, paving, and sidewalks throughout the facility, and replaced over 700 windows. The facility as a whole now is truly first class and represent a fantastic opportunity for senior housing in the North Country. We look forward to more successful work with these two partners in the future.
