Join Museum Director James Steward and Sir David Adjaye for an illustrated talk affording the first glimpses of the new Princeton University Art Museum. #linkinbio @adjayeassociates was selected as the project architect in September 2018, in collaboration with Cooper Robertson as the project’s executive architect. The new museum is slated to open in late 2024. #Repost @princetonu_artmuseum Join us live as architect Sir David Adjaye and Museum Director James Steward revea...l the design for the new Museum, slated to open in 2024. This richly illustrated talk will explore the ways in which the new Museum will present new approaches to collections display, break down barriers to participation, invite entry by all, and shape new ways of encountering art. Sir David’s architecture will invite visitors to see themselves as citizens of a broader set of communities, notes Steward, which in turn, we hope, will nurture a deeper sense of our shared humanity. The design will give us a building that truly allows the collections to sing, fosters new modes of investigation, and affords new moments of aspiration and inspiration. The reconstruction of the Princeton University Art Museum is conceived as a campus within the campus, said Adjaye, a space of genuine inquiry where the exhibition of diverse practices, learning as a synthesis of knowledge, and cross-cultural connections weave together into a singular experience that encompasses a multiplicity of ideas and peoples. Be among the first to explore the concepts and ideas that have shaped the new design, and to see glimpses of the facility. Please join us. Details and free registration through the link in our bio. This event will include live closed-captioning in English and Spanish.

The Garden Cafe (now called Hudson Garden Grill) was the first Cooper Robertson project for the @nybg. The project was an important piece of the New York Botanical Garden’s 70-year master plan for capital improvements. The cafe is located on a hill near the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. Construction was completed in 1997. The current grill (when open), serves seasonal dishes using produce from the Edible Academy. #NYBG #bronx #fbf

As master planners for the Riverton development, we love seeing progress on this site! #keepinkeepingon #middlesexcounty #newjersey #Repost @experienceriverton Clearing it out so we can build it up. Since 2019, we’ve gathered 475 tons of recycled rebar and that’s just a piece of the heavy lifting we’re doing to get this site prepared.
